Our Lenses and Coatings

We offer a variety of lenses and coatings that allow you to customize your new glasses to match your lifestyle. For example, if you work on a computer, we can discuss whether computer glasses or anti-fatigue lenses might make your work day more comfortable.

During your eyewear fitting, an optician will guide you through the various lenses and coatings we offer and make recommendations based on your prescription, lifestyle, and preferences.

Our opticians work in our in-house edging lab to precision-cut your custom lenses to fit your new frames. Most new eyewear is ready for pickup within 7–10 business days, although we can occasionally deliver your glasses to you faster.

Special Lenses

Anti-fatigue lenses: Also called enhanced single-vision, these lenses offer a power boost in the lower lens to support near tasks and alleviate eye strain.

Aspheric lenses: Lighter, thinner lenses with a subtly varied curvature for improved peripheral (side) vision for high prescriptions.

High-index lenses: Lighter, thinner lenses that provide the same strength as thicker ones.

Multifocal, progressive, or bifocal lenses: Offer clear vision for near and far objects without switching glasses for people with presbyopia.

Photochromic lenses: Lenses that adjust to changing light conditions, darkening in sunlight to protect your eyes.

Prism lenses: Correct double vision and eye alignment issues, such as binocular vision dysfunction (BVD).

Special Coatings

Special coatings can be added to your lenses to provide additional protection or support for your vision. Our special coatings include:

Anti-reflective coating: Minimizes glare and reflections for clearer vision.
